Sassano
Description
Sassano is known as the "town of the orchids": here you can find over 60 different types of this wonderful flower!
Sassano is a town that sits on the hill of the same name at an altitude of 490 metres above sea level on the extreme eastern end of the Province of Salerno, between the Cervati mountains and the Maddalena chain.
It is an excellent point of departure for pleasant excursions in the Vallo di Diano park.
