Beautiful small town located on the western side of the Lake Garda, in the Natural Park of the Upper Garda Bresciano , Gardone Riviera is characterized by abundant, almost luxuriant vegetation.
Sites to visit are the Vittoriale degli Italiani, Gabriele D'Annunzio's residence, a powerful collection of buildings and gardens where it's possible to admire both the poet's home and the his grave, and the Hruska botanical garden, about 2000 species of plants and flowers from all over the world blossom in this classical rocky garden, skilfully alternating between mountain plants, lakeside plants and clearings.
The Roman archaeological remains found in the hamlet of Fasano are also interesting.
