Ski resort of international fame, situated in the middle Valtellina, in the province of Sondrio, on the homonymous step that divides the Valcamonica from Valtellina, Aprica was part of the municipality of Teglio until 1927. Firmly established since the sixties it features a ski area at altitudes between 1200 m and 2300 m of altitude and 50 km of ski tracks and runs of all degrees of difficulties that arrive directly into the village, that is served by a network of modern ski lifts and chair lifts. For lovers of cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails Aprica offers the most suggestive, that wind between the woods of the Natural Reserve of Pian di Gembro.

Among the sites of interest, worth of mention:
- the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, built in the XVI century and enlarged in later centuries;
- the Parish Church of St. Peter, dating from the XII century and embellished with XVIII century frescoes;
- The Eco-Animal Center, a large area within the Nature Reserve of Pian di Gembro where it is possible to admire the flora and fauna of the Park of the Orobie Valtellinesi, which also features a pair of bears.
