Casal Velino is a small seaside town in the province of Salerno, located in the Velia bay, surrounded by a wonderful mountain landscape.
The territory is characterized by a rich vegetation, composed by olive trees, strawberry trees, myrtle, oaks, pines, fig trees and the typical broom of the Cilento coast.
The historic centre was built during the Middle Age where today district Marina is set.
